10 Joe Rogan Experience Guests Who Have Died

5. Michael Ruppert (1951 - 2014)

By this point we all know that the majority of information our governments feed us is horsesh*t... , but do we really care? Corruption and a lack of transparency is just the price we pay for living our comfortable lives while we binge on Netflix and easily accessible junk food.

Michael Ruppert was a man who tried to break through the façade. The former LAPD police officer-turned-investigative journalist spent years researching a number of gloomy and depressive subjects matters. From the depletion of oil reserves, to the insurmountable international debt, his work led him to the conclusion that the collapse of civilisation as we know it is looming.

Ruppert notably predicted the 2008 financial crisis and had been warning of its impending likelihood for a number of years before it happened.

Individuals such as Michael often become branded with the label of conspiracy theorist. The topics he dedicated much of his life exploring lent themselves to scrutiny, but his unwillingness to be perturbed is commendable. The fact he predicted one of the biggest events of the 21st Century is reason alone to take note of this guy's work.

The documentary Collapse examined not only Ruppert's theories but laid bare the effect his research had on his health. Sadly, Ruppert took his own life in 2014.
