With the Joe Rogan Experience podcast standing as one of the largest media behemoths on YouTube with over eight million subscribers on the main channel and countless more on affiliates, its no surprise that fans have a large and very vocal presence in the comment sections.

Encompassing people from all walks of life and a range of political opinions, the JRE fanbase is grouped together primarily in their love of free-form discussion between Joe and his guests.

However, that isn't to say that all JRE podcasts are created equal. Fans have been quick to voice their opinion in the past when they have been disappointed with various episodes, and equally vocal about their often polarised views about big-name guests.

But who are the most popular JRE guests of all time? Which episodes managed to reach levels of near-unanimous levels of love from fanbase?

Some guests just really click with Joe and it's obvious from the outset that the conversation is going to be awesome. This list is comprised of episodes of the JRE and the JRE MMA show with the highest percentage score of thumbs up on Youtube.

10. JRE MMA Show #61 With Herb Dean

Herb Dean represents the fabled gold standard of mixed martial arts officiating, having being recognised as one of the premier referees in the sport for coming up on two decades.

A sport in which if a referee calls a stop to a fight too early they could rob the fighter of the chance of a victory (and normally double their purse), and if they intervene too late they could be responsible for a fighter taking lasting damage, MMA refs have an enormous responsibility and are often maligned by fans for their mistakes.

So for Dean to still be popular among both fans and fighters after such a long time in the game is a testament to his skills and decision making as an official.

Dean's appearance on the JRE MMA Show was also clearly well-received and featured the referee justifying his controversial decision to stop the fight between Ben Askren and Robbie Lawler and changing Joe's mind on the fight in the process. The pair also cover a range of topics, demonstrating chemistry developed over more than a decade working together in MMA.
