10 Joe Rogan Podcasts With The Most Thumbs Up
4. #414 - Cmdr. Chris Hadfield
The oldest episode on this list, Rogan's conversation with Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield in November of 2013 took place just six months after Hadfield had been aboard the International Space Station in his final mission.
Hadfield is notable serving as a Commander on the ISS as part of Expedition 35 during his final stint in space, and for keeping up an active social media presence during that time, including famously recording a cover of David Bowie's Space Oddity before making his final journey back to earth.
Hadfield is a fountain of knowledge, explaining not only some of the science behind space travel, but also the psychology of living aboard a spacecraft that is distinctly separate from the earth and how he, and some of the astronauts he was with, dealt with that.
The only shortcoming of this podcast is its brevity, clocking in at just over an hour, so here's hoping that Hadfield will return to the JRE sometime in the future to offer more fascinating insights.
