10 Most Compelling Pieces Of Evidence That Prove Time Travel Exists

3. Immortal Actor Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage is a lot of things. He's the greatest actor of his generation. He's the untoppled #1 Superman fan alive. He is a poor dining companion. Turns out that he may also be some form of immortal vampire or time traveller, since the same internet detectives who came across all the video evidence of people from the future visiting the movies of the past have also discovered a cache of old photos which purport to show the star of National Treasure and Ghost Rider alive and well, hundreds of years before his official "birth".

Cage even went so far as to address the rumours during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, which is probably not something a PR guy ever thought he'd need to suggest to a client. So he's not an immortal vampire, okay. He's not dismissed any concept of him being a time traveller either though, has he? As we said before, as soon as scientists have managed to invent a way to travel back in time, it's gonna be celebrities who get to use it first. And no less a nutjob than Nicolas Cage would certainly be fighting his way to the front of the line in order to go back and screw with history. Or so he can do some first-hand research for an upcoming role which will undoubtedly involve him freaking out in a comical fashion and/or wearing a bad hairpiece.

Not that Cage has a monopoly on travelling back through history and having his appearance captured with sepia-toned photographs or textbook illustrations of 19th century Mexican Emperor Maximilian I. There's also the images of Keanu Reeves in 1570, and 1875, John Travolta in the 1860s, and Alec Baldwin, who is apparently both a recently deceased former Elks Lodge president, and a member of the Norwegian government. We're surprised these Hollywood stars have the time to make films, considering how often they're going on vacations to the past. At least we've got evidence of them doing it.
