10 Most Stunning Things Ever Said On The Joe Rogan Experience

4. "If There Were Ever A State Secret That The Government Wanted To Keep..." - Neil DeGrasse Tyson #310

Though these days Eddie Bravo has become known as the in-house conspiracy expert of the JRE, there was once a time when Rogan himself was an avid lover of alternative possibilities. In the early years of the podcast, Rogan regularly discussed conspiracy theories, though none quite as much as the possibility that humans did not land on the moon in 1969.

Rogan has noted in the years since that a conversation with renowned scientist Neil Degrasse Tyson on the JRE back in 2013 served as the impetus for his change in thinking. In that episode, NDT makes a compelling argument why conspiracies such as the belief that the moon landing was faked are completely irrational based on human behaviour:

"If there were ever a state secret that the government wanted to keep it would be the behaviour of President Clinton's genitals, okay? But that got out, and only three people knew this! Three! You're going to hoax a moon landing by telling 10,000 scientists and engineers to keep it secret for forty years? That's not how humans behave."
