9. Production Studio Tour

Based on the attraction in Hollywood, the Production Studio Tour was a short tram tour through the working stages of Universal.

Around when the park opened in 1990, the tour took guests through the soundstage and backstage areas of the working studios that were housed at the park. Visitors would also see the make up and costume departments.

Not just heading down the back areas, the tram would run down the New York and San Fransisco areas of the park.

The tour was much smaller in scale in comparison to the attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood and shut after only 5 years. All that is left of the tour is the gift shop Universal Studios Store, which is located near the park entrance.
