10 Problems Only People From Sydney Will Understand
6. Public Transport In Sydney Is Amongst Australia's Worst
If Japan's transportation system is like high-speed broadband, Sydney's pitiful excuse of a transportation system would be 1990's dial-up.
Masses of commuters crowd at train stations everyday waiting for a train that is almost certain to be late, train lines are always being closed due to repairs, maintenance of stations and trains is generally poor (looking at you Town Hall), and the network doesn't even reach all of Sydney. In fact, Sydney's railway network is so bad that it is considered to be the worst in Australia. The buses aren't that much better as they can also be pretty tardy and the bus route network is more confusing than the plot of Donnie Darko.
Should you favour a taxi over the train or the bus, then good luck finding one as taxis in Sydney are generally in short supply and generally all disappear from the face of the Earth from 3pm to 3am.
