10 Really Annoying Things About Every New iPhone Release

6. The Opening Day Rush

We're well past this point now since the phones have been released, but pre ordering the latest iPhones is the fool proof way to go about making sure you receive your iPhone ASAP - so long as you don't leave it too close to the opening day. You can pre order iPhones through mobile phone networks, securing your spot for whatever time you'd like to come and collect on the day (in most cases - some networks may be a little bit too hungry to shift them from under your noses if you're late). But the demand is monstrous. People actually camp and queue outside Apple stores across the globe to be amongst the first to get theirs on the Friday morning of release. People arrive in their droves to wait, accompanied by little fold up chairs, blankets, picnic food, the lot. It's a social gathering like no other. But at the end of the day, it's for the purposes of buying a phone.
