Rudolph Valentino usually grabs the lions share of the attention around here, but plenty of other stars shine brightly from Hollywood's gilded age.

Norma Talmadge (pictured) can be found buried next to her two sisters (also actresses). The crypt for French actress and screen siren, Renee Adoree, is also located in the mausoleum.

Another exotic beauty, Barbara La Marr, was laid to rest at HFC in 1926. Dubbed the, "Girl Who Is Too Beautiful", La Marr appeared in 27 films during her brief career cut short by tuberculosis.

The cemetery also holds the remains of dashing leading man, Douglas Fairbanks Sr., who starred in box office hits such as The Mark of Zorro, Robin Hood, and The Three Musketeers. Along with his wife Mary Pickford, Fairbanks served as a founding member of United Artists Studio and the Motion Picture Academy of the Arts.

It's also worth noting, the stylization of the character "Dread Pirate Roberts" (Cary Elwes) in The Princess Bride, was inspired by Fairbanks.
