Cottonwood has historically had an unusually high rate of UFO sightings, and this is just the latest of a growing pile of cases. The photo was reportedly taken during a drive on the I-5 highway, after the photographer spotted an unusually bright object in the sky while admiring the sunset. It was spotted while travelling in a moving vehicle, meaning that they quickly lost sight of it, but this photo allegedly records what it is they saw. Similar sightings were also made in the area, including reports in Oroville, California only hours before this photo was taken.
