When we first heard the name of these two raft slides, we assumed it alluded to them being so scary that you might need to change your swimming trunks after.

Turns out these thrilling slides have a more poignant meaning to their name. When translated from Malawi, Maku and Puihi mean "Wet" and "Wild" the name of the since demolished water park.

The site of old "Wet 'n' Wild" will soon be home of two new hotels which are yet to be named.
