Isambard Kingdom Brunel is the first of our more serious suggestions. Not only does he have a lengthy name, he is probably one of the most important figures in Britain's history whom without we may still be stuck in darker and poorer times. He built the first propellor-driven ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean and was responsible for the construction of the Great Western Railway which allowed trade and mass-transportation to occur on a national scale. This man deserves everything he got and more, and thankfully his legacy does still go on with statues, museums, homages in Olympic opening ceremonies and rather coincidentally being imprinted onto two special-edition £2 coins that were made during his bicentenary celebration year. Why? Without Isambard's cunning mind and great ambition, Britain would most likely still be stuck in a dark age, with the country's infrastructure and trading abilities being far less than what they currently are.
Video game addict and beer-loving lunatic. He has a passion for games that actually mean something. UK Football follower and admirer of anything that is graphically pleasing. Also, tea.
