Although the Queen may not approve of her late daughter-in-law showing up on the new pound coin due to family and marriage issues previous to her death, Princess Diana is undoubtedly one of the most inspirational and warm-hearted individuals you would ever have had the pleasure of meeting. Her countless charitable efforts in supporting the helping of AIDS patients in poor countries, supporting leprosy sufferers and more famously for helping the ban on land mines which she later won a Nobel Peace Prize for are the one and only reason why Britain owes her a massive debt. In her short-lived life she managed to make more of an impact on the world than any member of the Royal Family has in the past. Why? She dedicated every living moment of her life trying to help others and making other people's lives better than they currently are. Her death sadly was one that shouldn't have come for many years after and it is with great regret that her selfless heart didn't get to spread more happiness than it did. Her amazing achievements throughout life are the reasons why she deserves to be the face of the new £1 coin.
