9. Robosaurus Nearly Burnt Down The Park

The giant real-life fire breathing transformer Robosaurus has made a few different appearances at Halloween Horror Nights over the years. One night in 1992 was particularly memorable.

Whilst munching away on one of the cars a huge explosion occurred sending flames and petrol into the air and on the ground.

The fire was swiftly put out by firefighters and no one was hurt in the explosion. Most guests just thought it was all part of the show and thanks to the quick response of Universal and local firefighters, a crisis was swiftly averted.
