Before her Sue Storm appearance has even landed on the big-screen, Kate Mara's name is surely whizzing around Marvel HQ in relation to the world-conquering cinematic universe they're raising up, with the Fantastic Four no doubt linking up with the Avengers in the future. But things could've been very different had Mara landed either of two major roles from the DC universe as they look to muscle in on the monopolised superhero market. Mara was considered for the part of Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, and Lois Lane in Man Of Steel, but lost out to Anne Hathaway and Amy Adams respectively. Third time lucky, she's landed in a top role, so let's hope this take on the Fantastic Four is a marked improvement on the last time around.
