Be prepared to visit your hair-stylist regularly. You might need to book an appointment with them every 3 - 4 weeks if you'd like to keep your colour as va-va-voom as possible. They will know what colour to apply, how much bleach to use to cover up those nasty regrowths and to keep you looking your absolute best.

This means you'll need to budget for your hair at least once a month, and you'll pay a pretty penny if you're going for quality hair care. At the end of the day though, your hair's going to be the centre of attention and it's a good thing if you have a hairdresser you're comfortable with and who knows and gives you exactly what you want.

Leaving your hair in your own incapable hands (and yes, if you don't know what you're doing, then your hands are incapable), might just be the worst thing you can possibly do.
