7. A Cleaner Died After Being Trapped Under A Boat On It's A Small World (Disneyland Paris)
As a ride, It's A Small World has come to define the Walt Disney mentality; it's supposed to epitomise the magic of the park and it all that it has to offer. It's also the last ride you'd expect somebody to be killed on, but that's exactly what happened back in October 2010 during the early hours of the morning. Whilst cleaning It's A Small World in preparation for the day, a 53-year-old cleaner - subcontracted to the park through another company -
was killed when the ride was accidentally switched on. He was dragged beneath one of the boats and later died in hospital from the injuries sustained after being transferred from the park to hospital.
