Despite it being one of the busiest tourist destinations in the world, there are some slightly quieter places that you can escape the crowds.

Universal's Director of Entertainment, Mike Aiello told us that the Central Park area is the perfect place to escape. He said that he has been known on occasion to take breaks in the area as it's nice and quiet.

Carkitt Market within Diagon Alley is also a great place to get out of the sun. Despite being just next to the main thoroughfare, this wider area is often a lot less crowded than the rest of the Harry Potter attractions. It's also partially covered so you do gain a bit of relief from the sun. Knockturn Alley is completely under cover so is another excellent place to take a break from the Florida Heat.

Over at Islands of Adventure, there's a few secluded spots that you can get away from the crowds. Just outside Mythos there's a small trail that takes you down to the lake. This area is a great place to sit and relax. This area also has a small bridge, which if you cross you will hear a Troll which is supposed to live under it.

My favourite spot to get some crowd relief is the small beer garden area behind the Hogs Head at Hogsmede. You can access the seating area either through the bar or down an alley next to the ladies toilets.
