4. No Wonder Metropolis Hates Superman

More critical readers might argue that Man of Steel ruined Superman alone. But even if you disagree with that statement there is no doubt that this commercial tries to do the job. What is going on in it is not actually all that clear: the location appears to be Metropolis in the aftermath of the final battle, and the city is now trying to repair itself (in an inappropriately cheery manner no less). When one of the workers gives him a look as if to say €˜wtf Supes€™ all he does is shrug his shoulders as if to say €˜meh, what are you going to do€™, before flying off. Essentially the message that this commercial is trying to get across is that Superman is a bit of a dick that hates workers, which seems pretty counterintuitive to literally everything we know about the character.
