Pascal Payet is probably a very intelligent man, after all, he did help mastermind an armoured car in 1997, though the multiple prisons and guards that he served his sentence with clearly weren't too bright. The Frenchman waited four years in jail before being airlifted to freedom in a helicopter. He was recaptured, sent back to the same prison, and even rescued in the same manner just a couple of years later. Yet again he was found and thrown back in jail, though he was moved around different facilities to make him unpredictable for any escape plots being hatched outside the walls. Still, you guessed it, a helicopter managed to scoop him up again in 2007, though his 'staying out of jail' skills were severely lacking and was caught for the fourth time, and is now being held in an unknown location in France to prevent a fourth escape.
