8. Candace Owens
Conservative commentator and Political Activist, Candace Owens is best known for her pro-Trump, and anti-Black Lives Matter activism. Originally writing for the anti-Conservative website, Degree 180, Owens was critical of the GOP and Donal Trump.
In 2016, Owens began crowdfunding for a website which would trace the digital footprint of online bullies and reveal their information online. Receiving a vast amount of public backlash for the proposed intention of the site, Owens’s own information was leaked online. After receiving support from right-wing advocates, including Milo Yiannopoulus, Owens became conservative ‘overnight.’
Since then, she has been outspoken regarding the media portrayal of black people as victims and supported Donald Trump in the lead up to the 2016 election. Candace Owens has been outspoken in claiming Black Americans have been doing between under a Trump administration.
During her time on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Owens shared any of her opinions on Black America, Trump as President, and denied any real correlation between the use of fossil fuels and climate change - claiming that the change in climate is a naturally occurring phenomenon unaffected by human influence.
