No one wants to be that person running for the bus. Even though no one will bat an eyelid at someone running after their ride, you'll feel like everyone on the bus is judging you with their smug little expressions. They're not out of breath, they're not sweating profusely and they'll all know what you have just done. You know the timetable off by heart but when do bus drivers ever see those times as being set in stone - they're more like guidelines. But what's worse is when you think you have plenty of time so take a casual stroll but then you have to run to the bus stop for it to just sit there for six minutes because it's ridiculously early. You have just endured exercise for no reason whatsoever.
