13 Live Observations From The LEGO Factory & Museum Tour
12. The Factory Is Run By An Army Of Robots (And Men)
If you're lucky enough to be invited within the bowels of the LEGO Factory itself (one of only a handful in the world and the main production centre for Europe's brick fanatics), the mysterious logistics of producing so much LEGO are uncovered.
The factory is almost magically organised: machines pump out bricks every couple of seconds, with blue robots navigating the machines and picking up full boxes of bricks to pass on to the next stage. You get a very real sense of human achievement in there.
It's utterly mesmerizing to watch them on their journeys, and equally just as haunting to imagine their slow, relentless march towards control of the world when they decide they've had enough of moving boxes of LEGO around...
