One of the great things about London is how beautiful the views can be. London's skyline is an original gem to behold: many people criticised weird buildings (and their weird names) but it's these very buildings that have made London special. If we just had a bunch of skyscrapers that would be pretty rubbish. With that in mind, let us be thankful that The Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street is opening this year. The Sky Garden is set to be in another oddly-shaped building with a landscaped garden at level 35 spanning three floors, and a cafe with terrace at level 37. The building itself is up the road from Monument station, so it will offer views of all the key central London landmarks. The garden itself is set to be absolutely beautiful, so should be a pleasant escape from usual city life. As the website itself says, it has been "designed to create an open and vibrant place of leisure offering visitors a rare chance to experience London from a different viewpoint." Sold.
