13. Cone Bras

Reign: 1940's - 1980's You might want to blame Madonna in the 80's for the Cone Bra, but truth of the matter is, she isn't the first one who donned the Bullet Bra. Actress Jane Russell had a bra specially made for her for her role in The Outlaw, she had it constructed so that it would fit and support her "girls" with pointy nipples. After seeing Jane Russell and her bust in the movie, women sought to recreate the look on their own chests soon after. Years later (in the 1980's) Madonna recreated the pointy-boobie look, but to look a lot raunchier than Russell's girl-next-door-getting-a-bit-cold visage, and added a bondage feel to the whole trend.
