8. Connecting To Wi-Fi At Tube Stations

Yeah, we know what you€™re going to say: first world problems, right? It€™s true, going without internet for the half hour or so that you€™re on the Underground shouldn€™t really be an issue. But hey, someone put those wi-fi networks down there for a reason and we€™ll be damned if we€™re not going to try to connect to them at every available opportunity. Connectivity is usually fine when you€™re on the platform but obviously it€™s lost as soon as your train enters a tunnel. Then it€™s just far too tempting not to try and reconnect during the 30 or so seconds you have at every single stop along the way. Maybe you€™ll load the next page of that fascinating article you€™re reading. It€™s totally possible. But only just and if you€™re lucky.
