http://youtu.be/2ktiJUUBLPo An in vision continuity announcer on UTV (in vision continuity announcers are a virtually dead breed in all but UTV), Julian Simmons is known for his humorous introductions to his favourite programme - Coronation Street. He refers to plot developments in a very camp Ulster voice which is uniquely hilarious. He has a fan club in UCD (University College Dublin) and his best moments as a continuity announcer came when Prisoner Cell Block H was on UTV and he never failed to make mention of "the big, lusty weemin" of the show. A veritable Ulster legend.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
