http://youtu.be/EvXbvOCtDyQ BBC Northern Ireland and UTV (Ulster's ITV wing) are to be highly commended as a rich part of Northern Ireland's culture. Throughout the political conflict, both channels gave impartial and neutral reporting of the Troubles. Their journalists frequently put themselves at risk of harm. UTV is the only independent ITV station. Whilst Carlton and Granada were gobbling up franchises, UTV stood alone and thus retains a strong local feel in Northern Ireland that is missing in other parts of the UK. Putting on UTV is like putting on a cherished friend.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
