15 Things Only Tyneside Cinema Fans Will Understand

1. The It€™s A Wonderful Life Tradition

One of those times when you€™re almost guaranteed to be squeezed into the lobby or queuing on the stairs as you wait find out just what happens when a bell rings, the Tyneside€™s annual screenings of It€™s A Wonderful Life are a Christmas tradition. Usually shown several times in the final days leading up to December 25, these have become immensely popular and almost always sell-out in advance. Thankfully last year they added an additional screening last-on, due to demand, but it€™s certainly worth remembering to get in there early. The greatest Christmas film ever? Maybe. An absolute must during the festive season in the North East? Definitely. It is, dare I say it, wonderful.
