One of those times when youre almost guaranteed to be squeezed into the lobby or queuing on the stairs as you wait find out just what happens when a bell rings, the Tynesides annual screenings of Its A Wonderful Life are a Christmas tradition. Usually shown several times in the final days leading up to December 25, these have become immensely popular and almost always sell-out in advance. Thankfully last year they added an additional screening last-on, due to demand, but its certainly worth remembering to get in there early. The greatest Christmas film ever? Maybe. An absolute must during the festive season in the North East? Definitely. It is, dare I say it, wonderful.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
