You can't just get up mid push and take a stroll to the toilet, because Nature waits for no one. Most women find that they push so hard that something other than a baby comes out and that is totally fine. It's honestly something that they've seen before and they'll be so on it that they won't bat an eyelid and get rid of it straight away for you. Seriously, midwives are like poop ninjas. There are no judgments here so please stop crying, and it really isn't a big deal to your now urine soaked midwife.
