18 Joe Rogan Experience Podcasts You Must Listen From 2019

11. 1271 – Billy Corben

Billy Corben was a returning guest to the podcast and an exceptional one at that. The filmmaker has a really fun, yet intense energy and it shows in the films he makes. Many of his documentaries, such as Cocaine Cowboys and Dawg Fight, have been mentioned on the podcast before, so it was no surprise that Rogan had him on to promote his newest flick, Screwball.

We won't pretend to know much about or be the biggest fans of baseball, but after listening to Corben describe the shenanigans that went on in the sports, it's impossible to not want to watch this documentary. There was a huge steroid scandal that happened during the 2000s that involved huge Major League Baseball stars, including Alex Rodriguez and Corben takes an in-depth look at that.

Of course, with something like this, there's no real footage of anything taking place. So instead of using adult actors to do a re-enactment of the stories that were being shared, Corben decided to use children instead. Although it sounds like a very strange move, after listening to Corben on the podcast and watching the film, you'll see why it's genuinely hilarious.
