It may be recognisable all over the world nowadays due to its blue background and white writing but creator Mark Zuckerberg didn't just choose the colour because he had a fondness for it - but because he is red-green colourblind. Yes, Facebook's creator wanted a colour that he could easily recognise and work with, and not risk incorrectly viewing the wrong shade.
