11. Jesse James: Serial Husband AND Serial Adulterer
Celebrity self-promoter and tattooed gearhead Jesse James is famous for exactly two things these days: asking beautiful women to marry him at the drop of a hat, and then cheating on them with as many porn stars and strippers as he can find. His first marriage lasted for eleven years, from 1991 to 2002 however, with his fame and the celebrity client list of his lifestyle brand West Coast Choppers increasing (they also sold a few unbelievably expensive motorcycles, usually at a loss), it wasnt long before divorce beckoned. His second marriage to porn star and professional car crash Janine Lindemulder ran from 2002 to 2004, amid wild allegations of her domestic abuse and violent behaviour. It was during his much-publicised third marriage to Americas sweetheart Sandra Bullock only a year later that James went from cable TV minor celebrity to Entertainment Tonight fodder when he was accused of multiple affairs with multiple women over a significant period. While not addressing the specifics, James did publically apologise to Bullock for humiliating her like that. It didnt help. The two divorced in June 2010. Less than a month later, James was dating fellow tattooed TV presenter and alternative lifestyle shill Kat Von D, and they were engaged four months after that. Of course, that wouldnt last long: they broke up and reunited several times before calling it a day after yet more infidelity on James part. James is now married for the fourth time to professional drag racer Alexis Dejoria, whose father John Paul is rich enough to have him wiped from the face of the earth, never to be seen again, should he screw around on her.
