3. News Of The Future Accurately Predicts Ronald Reagan's Rise To Presidency... AND The Year The Berlin Wall Would Be Destroyed (1969)
The US comedy show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In featured a sketch entitled "New Of The Future", in which bizarre "future" stories were broadcast as fact. Indeed, two of them they did actually accurately predict in separate episodes in 1969. First of all it was predicted that then-Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan would be in the White House in 1988 - he became the 40th President of the US, holding office between 1981 and 1989 - and second that the Berlin Wall would fall in 1989, which it did in November of that year.
