It shouldn't be shocking when a massive movie star comes on the podcast, but because Rogan is so anti-Hollywood, it still comes as a surprise when someone like Robert Downey Jr. is a guest.

The Academy Award-winning actor joined the JRE to promote his movie, Dolittle, but like most JRE episodes, the topics rarely stayed on Downey's latest feature. Instead the two spoke about a whole host of things that they have in common, including their love of the martial arts, Downey's modern comedy classic, Tropic Thunder, and a whole lot more.

With Avengers: Endgame being released in 2019 and becoming the highest grossing movie of all time and Rogan being a self-confessed former comic book nerd, there's no way that he wasn't going to ask the man who played Tony Stark whether or not he was coming back to reprise his role.

While Marvel Cinematic Universe fans didn't quite get the answer the were hoping for from Downey, it was still amazing to hear him talk about his time playing the iconic role.
