20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

9. BFI Southbank

For the more discerning movie-goer, there's the BFI Southbank. Specialising in showing old classics and obscure features, the BFI can be found just by the southern end of Waterloo Bridge, made up of three cinemas, exhibition space and a couple of cafes and bars. There's almost always something interesting going on at BFI Southbank, from one-off screenings to elaborate film festivals. A paradise for film buffs, the BFI screens classical films daily, while the BFI London Film Festival runs for just under a fortnight in October every year. While BFI Southbank isn't the greatest place for more frugal visitors, thanks to expensive food and the overpriced official store, it remains a movie lover's paradise for anyone that's serious about film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUA11eaqtxc

Tom Butler hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
