20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

7. The Cinema Museum

Housing a massive collection of memorabilia, props and artefacts from classic movies, The Cinema Museum covers the history of cinema from the late 1800s to the present day. Running since 1986, the museum is primarily focused on cinema from "before the multiplex." A fascinating collection for any lover of film, the Cinema Museum features extensive selections of everything to do with the industry, from posters to art deco cinema chairs. The archive is said to feature over one million photos, and 17 million feet of film. The best time to visit the Cinema Museum is during one of its many regular events, in which screenings are accompanied by volunteers dressed in vintage cinema attendant costumes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-57NhAM-pGA
