20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

5. Grant Museum Of Zoology

The only university zoological museum in London, the Grant Museum of Zoology features over 67,000 specimens in its expansive collection. Mainly consisting of stuffed or preserved animals and skeletal remains, it's one of the only places to see preserved bodies of extinct creatures such as the Dodo and Tasmanian Tiger. It's also one of the most quirky museums in the city, and it's become famous for its many strange and bizarre jarred creatures. The most popular of these is the glass jar of 18 moles, which even has its very own Twitter account (@glassjarofmoles). Other notable exhibits include a large collection of preserved brains, whole animal heads and a mammoth tusk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHNgvnT5E60
