8. Clinton Gutted Salmon And Removed Slime From Fish During One Of Her Early Jobs

Leaping Salmon During the summer of 1969, Clinton worked her way across Alaska and undertook many jobs. First washing dishes in Mount McKinley National Park, Clinton then gutted and removed slime from salmon in a fish-processing cannery in Valdez. However, Clinton was fired and the factory closed down almost overnight after she complained about the unhealthy working conditions the staff were forced to endure.
