Then there is silence. Arent they supposed to cower in the face of authority? Arent they supposed to break down in tears and admit their wrong in the face of such power? Isnt there supposed to be a moment of fear in their eyes? Something?! And Im getting my parents up to complain about you. There it is. Thats the moment. You cower in the face of Barry/Gary/Carries authority. You break down in tears and admit youre wrong in the face of their power. The fear is clearly in your eyes. Barry/Gary/Carrie has just told you off and your place on the bottom rung of the school ladder is complete.
