20 Things All Cardiff University Students Will Understand

4. The Horror Of The Cardiff Portal

It's always down. This is particularly true on results day, where you will be stuck, desperately trying to log in, and receiving the same, endless error message. It will also happen on the day you have to apply for next year's modules. Like a good student, you will have woken up an hour before the application page went live, only to find yourself automatically logged out with one minute to spare, and desperately trying to get in before all the good modules are taken. And when it is working, chances are that it will demand that you change your password yet again.

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
