Northern people are a special breed. We have our priorities straight. The few North East comedians to have made the public eye have done so due to their sharp, honest wit, and (offensively to some) frank look at life. We've spawned some comedy greats: Ross Noble, Vic and Bob, Chubby Brown and Chris Ramsey to name a few.
