25 Awesome Things To (Still) Look Forward To In 2014

4. Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Why Get Excited? Granted, this upcoming installment in Activision€™s mega-selling franchise does feature a nifty story €“ the action takes place in 2054 and Kevin Spacey wants to take over the world €“ but what the majority of fans want to know is whether the multiplayer is up to scratch. Unsurprisingly, all of the early signs say 'affirmative'. Following on from their work on Call Of Duty: Ghosts, the folks at Raven Software are back on board to develop the multiplayer on this title and, going by the footage we€™ve seen, this is the most futuristic online COD experience to date. Gamers will be able to choose from a host of new weaponry, ping out grenades from arm-assembled launchers, hide from foes via a cloaking device and actually see through walls while stalking their prey. Scorestreaks have also altered to be more customisable and fans of Call Of Duty: Black Ops II€™s Hardpoint mode can look forward to this making an appearance in Advanced Warfare. If any game is going to top the charts as the best-selling of the year, it€™s this one. When€™s It Out? Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is due to land in early November on all major platforms except Nintendo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj3-RsyJKfA
