5 Reasons You Must Stay At Universal Orlando Resort's Sapphire Falls

1. Atmosphere

The best thing about the hotel is the atmosphere. Just like the bedrooms there's a calm and relaxing feeling to the hotel. The lobby has an open yet friendly feel and has a light coconut aroma that transports you to tropical shores. Sapphire Falls was incredibly clean and looks as fresh as the day it opened.

You forget that you are just a few minutes from the parks and despite my view over Islands of Adventure I didn't hear The Incredible Hulk roar once. It's not the closest of Universal's onsite hotels but I enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the parks along the waterway. One of the nicest views of hotel is from the walkway to CityWalk.

This is a themed hotel with no over the top gimmicks. It's decorated beautifully to give you a taste of the Caribbean islands and does enough to convince you that you could be there. There's lots of winding paths including one that takes you to the small waterfall at the back of the hotel.

If you're looking for a hideaway in the theme park capital of the world then Sapphire Falls is the place to be. A family friendly resort which shows that theming doesn't have to be tacky.
