6 Reasons You Must Stay At Universal Orlando Resort's Aventura Hotel

Although Aventura only has a handful of dining options, you aren't limited to just a couple of food choices.

The Urban Pantry is the hotel's main dining room and is jam packed full of options. There are different counters depending on what you fancy eating. There was a huge sushi section, a counter to get burgers and even roasted meats. You could even build your own stir fry if you fancy.

For me, Urban Pantry really came into its own at breakfast. Nobody does crispy bacon like Universal and being able to get some with the biggest stack of pancakes I've ever seen would be worth a night here alone! Also there was a Starbucks right next to the dining room meaning that I could get my favourite specialty drink with my breakfast.

I loved that Starbucks was right in the lobby. I could grab a Frappuchino and a cake pop for the road on my way to the parks. Although Starbucks staff are generally accommodating, the staff here were excellent, especially the team member who insisted that if my drink was anything less than perfect she would make me a second. It was perfect first time.

If you prefer to have your dinner with a view then Bar 17 Bistro is a must visit. Located on the 17th floor of the hotel, you have the perfect view of Universal's firework displays and Volcano Bay's Krakatau nighttime eruptions. Bar 17 Bistro offers Asian style tapas along with a selection of larger meals. Personally, I would recommend the Bao buns which were incredibly delicious. Being a bar, there was also a rather tasty selection of cocktails to sample too.

For me the best thing about Aventura was the large selection of lighter, healthier meals. Yes you can get french toast and burgers, but staying here you would have no issue eating healthy. There were plenty of grilled protein based dishes and vegan options to enjoy.
