5. Is It Even Christmas If There Isn't A Huge Parade?

One of the best things about spending the Christmas season at Universal Orlando is getting a chance to catch the parade.

Created alongside Macy's, the Holiday Parade features some of the most beautiful floats and balloons that you'll see in any theme park. Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s contains some of your favourite characters from Dreamworks and Illumination animation, so get ready to party with Shrek, King Julian and the Minions.

What makes the Holiday Parade so wonderful is that there is also a whole section dedicated to childhood toys. With building blocks, teddy bears and toy soldiers, this section of the parade was designed to make every member of the family nostalgic. It's a truly magical place to be.

It wouldn't be a Christmas parade without Santa! See the big man himself ride in on his own magnificent float, complete with a beautifully lit globe and of course, his nice list. He truly is the highlight of the parade as each evening he turns on the lights on the huge Christmas tree.

There isn't a bad place to catch the parade but if you want to catch the best shot of Santa lighting the tree, I recommend grabbing a place early just outside The Revenge of The Mummy ride.
