Tikal National Park is located in northern Guatemala (South of Mexico) and was the location of "Yavin 4" at the end of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Shortly after the release (and success) of the first Star Wars blockbuster, the National Park was named a world heritage site and is now considered one of the most renowned examples of Mayan culture.
