1. The Post-it Note Mystery

In 2015 a post was added to the r/legaladvice subreddit, with u/RBradbury1920 explaining that he had found a series of handwritten notes around his apartment, without having any idea how they might have gotten there.

As the Redditor lived alone, he came to the reasonable conclusion that the only other person who could have written the notes was his landlord, and had actually initially posted his query to find out whether he had any legal recourse regarding the mysterious jottings.

Though multiple theories were speculated in the post's comments, the most plausible account of how the notes had appeared came from u/Kakkerlak, who explained that while the notes could be a result of a dissociative disorder stemming from mental illness, it was also possible that carbon monoxide poisoning was causing Bradbury himself to post the notes and then completely forgetting that he had.

Bradbury would later post an update explaining that after installing a detector that he was suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, meaning u/Kakkerlak may well have saved his life.
