1. The Plot Of Land

Even though Universal have never officially said that the 475 acres that they purchased in 2015 was just outside its Orlando Resort, most industry experts believe that it was. If the huge chunk of land surrounding the now closed Wet 'n' Wild is now part of Universal's landscape this could lead to amazing things.

The space is big enough for hotels, an entertainment district or even another park. The land itself isn't connected to the current area which does bode the question, how will this be incorporated?

So far no one knows just exactly what Universal have planned for this massive space. Even if they were to use it for backstage areas, this could free up even more space within the parks for new areas.

Universal have an arsenal of movies that they can call on to make new and exciting attractions. Recently the company purchased DreamWorks Animation, who are responsible for Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda. With Shrek already in the parks, the others would also create some great attractions.

Universal Parks also play well with others. Their collaboration with J.K Rowling and Warner Bros. over extremely successful Wizarding World of Harry Potter proves that they are a great partner to collaborate with. J.K.Rowling reportedly turned down working with Disney after they couldn't agree on how to portray the world. Given the success of Wizarding World, many non-Universal intellectual properties must be dying to work with the parks.

The future for Universal Orlando Resort is bright and it's exciting to see just what is on the horizon.
