8 Things You Do Every Day That Could Kill You

1. Nothing At All

You could do everything right. You could live on a diet of all-organic goddess juice, cycle 10 miles every day and get all your vaccinations on time, and yet still drop dead for no reason during your weekly pilates workshop. Sudden Adult Death Syndrome or Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) is exactly what it sounds like: the sudden cardiac arrest of seemingly healthy, often young, people. There could be a number of underlying causes, mostly a congenital weakness in the heart that will cause zero health problems and go completely undetected, until it suddenly kills you. Because the condition is often just recorded as "natural causes", we can't be sure how many people die from SADS, but with this in mind, it might be a good idea to seize that day a little more.
